I am excited about getting out and covering comedy rooms. To bring you all the deets on why the specials, when you hang out in the comedy rooms you can almost see whose up nexts. Stay tuned, but until then, here’s why we’re doing it.
I am saddened that I can no longer hangout at the cafes I used to. My go-to spot was always Artist Cafe on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, which unfortunately is no longer there.

Ownership also serves as a long-term investment, building equity and accumulating wealth over time, providing stability, security, and potential for future prosperity. Business failures are an inevitable part of the entrepreneurial journey. While they can be disheartening and discouraging, it is crucial to view these failures as opportunities for growth and improvement.
Recognizing Black Success During Juneteenth. As Juneteenth approaches, it’s essential to acknowledge the accomplishments of Black people, particularly in the region we serve. Although Juneteenth originated in the South, it was the everyday people who recognized their worth that made it a national holiday. It’s time to celebrate and highlight other areas such as Chicago’s Bronzeville, which was once known as the Black Metropolis, and give them the recognition they deserve.
